C1M can provide your organization with a dedicated short code. Short codes , also known as short numbers or Common Short Codes (CSC), are special numbers, 5 or 6 digits in length, which can be used to address SMS messages from a mobile phone. Once assigned, you can enable a consumer to 'opt-in' to an advertising campaign as follows:

• Consumer sees or hears advertisement (e.g. newspaper ad, Website, TV commercial, billboard, radio, etc)
  
  
• Consumer texts a keyword (e.g. “promo”) to a pre-assigned short code (e.g. 555555). Keywords can be created by client and can be almost any word.
  
  
• C1M SMS gateway receives SMS and responds with a canned message established by your company.

Using our Broadcast SMS feature, you can upload consumer mobile numbers and rapidly send out thousands of test messages to various groups of consumers at various times. Messages can be sent immediately or scheduled to be sent at a specific time.


C1M can also create interactive campaigns where consumers can respond to additional questions or promotions. Replies are automatically saved and archived in a SQL database. This database is available to your company through a web interface for further reporting and analysis. The solution is hosted on C1M's secure SMS gateway .
